Agricultural Day 2008
Come see for yourself why agriculture is the No. 1 industry in Natchitoches Parish at the Second Annual Natchitoches Agricultural Day on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Natchitoches Events Center.

The Agricultural Expo will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Events Center, located in the heart of the Natchitoches Historic District. Admission is $2 per person and free for children 12 and under. Agriculture is the No. 1 industry in Natchitoches Parish. The top agricultural products in Natchitoches include timber, poultry, cattle, cotton, and soybeans. We take great pride in our rich fertile soil which is able to produce such a variety of wonderful crops. It is exciting to know that there are only a handful of turf farms in Louisiana and one of those is in Natchitoches Parish.

Natchitoches Bridal Extravaganza 2008
Planning a wedding? Noticing that your special time is coming faster than you expected? If so, the Third Annual Natchitoches Bridal Extravaganza is where you need to be on Sunday, April 13, 2008.

The Natchitoches Bridal Extravaganza will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Natchitoches Events Center, located at 750 Second Street in the Natchitoches Historic District, and will be co-sponsored by KLAX ABC-31. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under. The Bridal Extravaganza will highlight vendors from all aspects of wedding planning including photographers, caterers, wedding planners, beauty consultants, designer bridal gowns, tuxedos and much more. In addition to vendors, there will also be a bridal fashion show to give you the opportunity to see bridal attire up close. Attire to be showcased in the fashion show includes wedding gowns, tuxedos, bridesmaid dresses and much more.
